Don’t we all have one of those days, when we think that life couldn’t get worse and we are just so angry about these obstacles happening to us. And we keep telling to ourselves, why? Why? Why? Did you know that life can get so much better instantly when you look at it differently.
On a Friday at 6pm I saw my neighbor in the yard with all his stuff on the lawn. He said that he was waiting for the movers to come back, as the movers needed another truck, since they had more things than expected. He was getting really frustrated and he said, there is no point of getting angry, because it would not make the situation better. He told me that the cleaning crew was about to come any minute. He was to be on the road going on a mini vacation with his family. I told him that he would not want to be stuck in traffic on a Friday afternoon with three kids on 95. That would not be a pleasant experience and leaving later means that he would be able to have a smooth drive. Then he said to me “oh that’s the silver lining of this”.
In all situations in life, it is how you look at them, by looking at the situation differently, you can react differently and feel differently. By feeling better about the situation, instantly you have a better life.
